Turnip looks similar to carrot but distinct in quality and color. It has long root in white color. The farmers say turnip is white ginseng in winter. The best temperature for turnip growing is between 25 - 30 degree C. Vietnamese farmers plant turnip in cool upland area or cool season in Autumn.
