Bitter melon or known as bitter gourd is tropical vine, widely planted in Vietnam. Bitter melon is not only food but also used as a herbal medicine. We use bitter melon to cook with meats or eggs, and use dried one to steam for herbal drink.

In Vietnam we harvest the bitter melon all year round. We also follow organic farming with this vine. It is productive. If we can not eat up we dry the bitter melon because can keep it longer. The taste is little bitter but disappear quickly.
