Anise tree has light brown straight trunk with the height from 6 - 15 meters high. The tree is planted in mid land from elevation 200 - 600 m above sea level. There are about 40 species of anise in South East Asia, Eastern Asia, and North America. Anise trees are mainly planted in North East Vietnam. The average temperature is 18 - 22 degree C, and rainfall is from 1000 - 1600 mm.
