There are 3 main reasons that make Arabica coffee here more special: high elevation of 1450 - 1600 m, cool temperature from 5 - 30 degree C, and rich qualified basalt land in South Central Highland Vietnam. There are 3 species of Arabica coffee there including Typica, Bourbon, and especially Catimor. 

Cau Dat covers an area of 1500 hectares, just only for coffee plantation. The coffee taste is prominent with warm aroma, sour, and little bitter. It is nice blend with fruit or honey.
